I am so excited to introduce this new "have to have" item into the shop!  The flat iron pocket is great for all your summer travels.  The pocket is just that, a pocket..... simple.  There's not any fancy zippers or snaps or velco (which will get covered with hair...yuck!).  It's lined with a heat resistant quilted material so when you are done with your hair do, unplug, tuck the flat iron in the pocket & pack.  Your flat iron is safe from dings & it won't burn or melt anything either.

i found your blog through gussy sews. i was reading through her comments from her husband's post. you sounded similar to me so i clicked over. i work part time at my daughter's school and am thinking about subbing the following year. i am also a self taught sewer and am ready to try putting myself out there and selling! super scared but super excited! happy to find you! :)

and, btw, your creations are adorable!!

I love this flat iron pocket! I have one from Target and never even thought about making one. What a great idea! Also, LOVE your "made in michigan" tag! So cute! :)
