I survived the first week of back to school.  My 6th grader did well at junior high.  I dropped him at the door & said have a good day, also known as, throwing him into the shark tank and wishing him luck.  He made it out alive and actually is enjoying the changing of classes & his teachers.  I expect the honeymoon to end by this Friday when the homework gets handed out!

My 3rd grader is doing well and is in Upper Elementary, that's the big kids side of the building!  This is the year they start taking tests & the MEAP & all that fun stuff.

Oh gee, is it June yet! I'm still mourning the end of summer.  It went to fast and I think it's my fault...... I had too much fun!

Well, reality is here and I best embrace it.  I have  2 shows coming up, both of which I am helping organize and get crafters for.  The first one is in three weeks..... the sound of that makes my queazy!

So instead of laying down until the queasiness subsides, I have started sewing my brains out in all my spare time.  Which, if I manage it well and stop flipping the TV outside of my sweat shop, I could get a lot more done.

In pics, this is what I have been doing.....the past few weeks.
